Iwobi says Fulham boss Marco Silva has created a “sense of togetherness” this is empowering the squad and bringing out the most efficient in him.

“I feel like [I am] just expressing myself a bit more,” stated the previous Arsenal and Everton guy.

“The manager gives me that license and freedom to try and get into more goalscoring opportunities. Even if I make a mistake he says: ‘Alex, go again.’

“Having that self belief from him, [and] my team-mates backing me, it makes you are feeling nearly unstoppable. You’re keen to aim and do the rest at the tone.”

The west Londoners have not finished higher than 10th in the Premier League since 2011-12, and Iwobi hopes to remain in contention for the European places.

“We’ve the avid gamers and I haven’t performed in Europe in a protracted date, so it’s a dream I need to succeed in once more,” Iwobi added.

“We’re now not afraid of no-one. We’re assured that we will compete towards any person and snatch 3 issues. The sky’s the restrict.”
