🇳🇬 TINUBU WANTS ANOTHER FOUR YEARS — BUT HAS HIS GOVERNMENT DONE ENOUGH TO EARN A SECOND TERM?

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is seeking another four-year term as Nigeria’s president, with the 2027 presidential election approaching.

On October 14, 2026, Tinubu inaugurated the APC Presidential Campaign Council, formally intensifying preparations for the 2027 election. His party says the campaign will focus on the administration’s reforms, achievements, and plans for the future.

Tinubu became the APC’s presidential candidate for 2027 after winning the party’s presidential primary in May 2026 with 10,999,162 votes, according to the State House.

🔥 THE BIG QUESTION

Has Tinubu’s administration done enough to deserve another four years?

Supporters point to the government’s economic reforms, infrastructure investments, energy policies, education initiatives, and efforts to improve government revenues.

Tinubu himself argues that his reforms have helped stabilize the economy and that Nigeria is now moving from a period of difficult reforms toward what he calls an “age of prosperity.”

But critics point to the continuing cost-of-living pressures, fuel prices, inflation, insecurity, unemployment and economic hardship faced by many Nigerians. Rising fuel prices have remained a major political issue ahead of the 2027 election.
